CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Spaulding Ridge, LLC, a management consulting company offering executive-level, practical advice and IT solutions to scale businesses, announced today the hiring of Sarah Katz as a Partner in the Advisory Practice, and Emil Fernandez as a Partner in the Financial Close Practice.
Sarah Katz’s initial focus will be to develop and deliver finance and operational solutions for our clients. Katz will also lead various aspects of the overall firm. Jay Laabs, founder and CEO of Spaulding Ridge stated, “Sarah brings a unique combination of strong market leadership and deep technical and functional understanding of the technologies and industries we operate in. She will enhance Spaulding Ridge’s people, operations, and finance capabilities.” Katz will be based out of Spaulding Ridge’s San Francisco office. Prior to joining Spaulding Ridge, she served as a Senior Director and Northwest Market Lead at Huron Consulting Group. Katz received her degree in International Business & Finance from Marquette University. Emil Fernandez will lead the Financial Close practice. Fernandez is a 22-year veteran of the enterprise software and consulting services industry and has spent his career helping clients solve complex business problems with technology. Laabs stated, “Emil brings broad capabilities to the firm across ERP, EPM and BI processes and technologies. He has a proven track record of driving sustaining success for his clients and partners.” In 2002, Fernandez founded Kerdock Consulting, which grew into one of the leading Hyperion partners in North America. Under Fernandez’s leadership, Kerdock delivered hundreds of successful Hyperion projects, and was recognized with numerous awards for excellence by both Hyperion and Oracle.
