Sarah Katz is a principal at Spaulding Ridge, where she leads the Advisory Practice, overseeing financials and operations. Katz has established herself as a leader in the technology industry, working with some of the most disruptive companies, both pre and post-IPO. Her breadth of experience guiding the implementation of digital solutions by leveraging enterprise software, creating efficiencies with process optimization/reengineering and organizational changes gives her a unique perspective in advising both established and emerging companies.
Katz got her start in investment banking before joining Blue Stone International to lead multi-million-dollar digital transformational engagements with global markets. At Blue Stone, her success focused on strategic modeling on M&A, valuation, divestures, refinancing, and liquidation. When Huron acquired Blue Stone in 2013, she expanded her expertise to include Salesforce, Oracle/Hyperion, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Analytics. Now based in California, Katz further established her leadership and technology expertise in the Bay Area, growing the market 3x in revenue and headcount.
Katz takes a holistic approach to client services, regarded as a trusted advisor in each phase of engagement, from technology selection through execution. She works closely with her team and clients to build sustainable models for flexible, scalable solutions, creating repeatable adoption models for continuous improvement as business needs evolve.
Empowering women in business is a passion for Katz, leading her to found She Disrupts, a community of coaching and mentorship. She serves on the advisory council for ArtPoint and is a member of Battery Powered.
Katz earned her BS in Finance with a specialization in International Business from Marquette University and studied abroad at St. Claire’s University at Oxford.
