Matt Cain is a Managing Director at Spaulding Ridge with nearly 15 years of experience in finance and enterprise technology consulting. A CFA charter holder, he specializes in strategic financial modeling, enterprise-wide planning, profitability analysis, and reporting and analytics.
At Spaulding Ridge, Matt provides strategic guidance across consolidation and close, enterprise planning, strategy modeling, and analytics, helping clients align technology with business goals and implement the processes necessary to drive ROI. Notably, he led a multi-stage engagement for one of the world’s largest food and beverage retailers, transforming its integrated financial planning processes through technology-enabled solutions.
In addition to his client work, Matt plays a pivotal leadership role in Spaulding Ridge’s Toronto office and is dedicated to mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University.
